ROFL !!!!
- my dear dear friends D and D came up yesterday and set up my wireless internet and transfered files from the old computer to my laptop. THANK YOU!!!! so exciting. My DD and her boyfriend made us belgian waffles that was great as well.
- went shopping with a new fun friend. it went really well. lots of great shops down in the area we were at. got a new quilt for my bed and some lamps for the living room, as it's showing next weekend.... however, they don't work! what a drag to have to return them..... like I have time for that sort of nonsense
- work has been busy and extra stressful and I'm trying to leave it there. The way the last shift ended was a panic and I hurt my back and so it's very sore now.
- looks like I'll be looking at a few townhomes in a couple of weeks. I CAN NOT wait to move out of this town and start a new life. I DESERVE a fresh start. This house is sucking the soul out of me.
- very excited about my g/f B's upcoming wedding. just have to find an appropriate pair of shoes and get my dress altered. talk about a PHOTO OPPORTUNITY!!! Yes, I'll make her a scrapbooker, just wait and see.....
- am thinking of cutting my hair short and throwing in some blonde....
- anxiously awaiting my SU order. I have cards to make!
- have more cleaning and organizing to do to get the house to show, including stuff outside. which I hate, the outside stuff....yuck.
- Raja has been so super cuddley with me for the past week or so. teach him to pee on my bed! especially my NEW leopard print sheets!
- working on my "bucket list" for a layout for my BOM. What are things you want to get checked off before you die?

- holy crap, working on 2.5 hours of sleep is BRUTAL! The day was a write off pretty much as soon as I got there.
- shopping on Sunday with a girlfriend, looking forward to that; covert operation!
- my darling D is coming up Saturday to set up my wireless internet.... now THAT is EXCITING!
- saw a double rainbow on the drive home which was so pretty. then it was TORRENTIAL rain.... I felt like I was driving through a river.
- been meaning to show my daughter what I have done with her grade 12 album and grad album, both of which are incomplete. Put them together in a three ring scrapbooking binder. So wish I had those kinds of pictures saved from my time at that age. I think she will be pleased.
- if the weather is cooperative, my big plan is to pressure wash the desk and some parts of the house, on the weekend
- FINALLY have my down comforter dry after the cat pee incident. OY!
- want to start looking at townhomes again.... house is up for sale again, had a few people through, a few weeks ago. gosh, I sure hope it will sell in the next few months. I don't think I can take another six months here. it's killing my soul.
- looking forward to getting my SU order.... whoo hoo!

One of the layouts I completed over the weekend during my scrapbooking marathon with my great friend L. I didn't get as much accomplished because I had such a mess to clean up before I could start. Just a fun little layout talking about the silly 3 generation self portraits we did each day while in Vegas.

so, what's new? pneumonia!
- well, I ended up being sick in bed for a week, coughing my lungs out. Finally got to see a doctor and am now finishing up a week's worth of antibotics and inhalers. Thank goodness for Flovent! So nice to be able to breathe! I am very frustrated with these frequent lung issues.
- unfortunately I slept right through Mother's day, but my daughter did give me a lovely card... and had wanted to give me a spa manicure while in Vegas, so that was nice. A few days later, her and her boyfriend made my mom and I waffles. yum!
- missed the surprise shower I had been helping plan for my girlfriend at work, because of being ill, and feel so disappointed about that. looks like it was a fabulous time and she was surprised, which is awesome.
- my daughter is now the proud owner of her first vehicle which is exciting for her. So now I have another "stage" to really worry about... her driving more and more on the highways.
- hoping my dear friends D&D might pop up for a morning visit on the weekend and set my wireless internet up; I CAN'T WAIT to be in bed with my laptop, online!!!
- my dear g/f is coming up this weekend for a scrapbooking marathon!!! woo hoo I have already started printing out pictures for particular layouts I'd like to get done. What I really should be doing (other than housework) is getting that room cleaned up and organized so we can both work in there.
- am down 30 pounds since the beginning of the year. guess I got a little jump start with Dr Cohen's diet that I only did for 10 days, and then all the walking in Vegas and then being sick for a week. trying to make better choices every day. having less and less Starbucks Light Mochas (sad so sad).

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Love the ones who don't just because you can. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Kiss slowly. Forgive quickly.God never said life would be easy. He just promised it would be worth it.

We're back from Las Vegas - a wonderful time with the three generation. Unfortunately, my present computer is too old to read my new SDHC memory card that I got with my new memory card. So the pictures will have to wait! Here are some of the highlights ...
- we had a good smooth travel day
- had some wonderful meals: ate lunch one day on the Terrace Cafe, of course, had to go to the Cheesecake Factory for my favorite yummy Luau Salad and then.... Godiva chocolate cheesecake! Also ate at Chin Chin for lovely chinese food and tried the California Pizza Kitchen.
- I won a little bit, once, $150 and the other time, $200. I gave myself a limit of $20 per day, so I did come out a little bit ahead! My mom enjoyed the gambling but she didn't have much luck this time.
- every morning we spent a few hours at the pool, which was so peaceful, HOT, beautiful, and refreshing. My daughter is quite dark, as is my mom, but I'm of course, burnt.
- did quite a bit of shopping: Fashion Show Mall, Miracle Mile stops, Casears forums and in some of the hotels. My daughter is VERY happy with her purchases. I loved going to Sephora!
- I got myself two purchases, a great makeup kit from Sephora, some lovely hand soaps from Bath and Body works, and a lovely dress for a wedding I'll be attending in less than two months. It was $180 and marked down to $52!!!
- watched the Bellagio water fountains. Still my favorite thing to see. Just love the beautiful of it, the music, the sounds of the water. So peaceful. Next time I go to Vegas, I am going to try to get in at the Bellagio!
- We went and saw LOVE, the Beatles Cirque de Soleil show at the Mirage. It was different, but awesome with some of the acts, but I found it hard to enjoy as it was so loud I got an instant headache. Mamma was pleasantly surpirsed that she liked it.
- Feeling kicked down, yet again. Hurts to breathe. Trying to cough up the junk in my lungs but it's not coming. Throat feels like razor blades. HATE this!!!
- to end on a good note, I took 319 pictures, but edited only 202 on my new laptop! Hopefully tomorrow I can figure out how to set up my wireless internet and my scanner (I have a SURPRISE picture).........
