Oi !!! The OT just keeps on a coming. I worked a 12 hour dayshift on friend, that was an OT shift. I got called back to work from 2350 to 0700, so I did 19 hours at work in 24 hours. Then today I was told to come in and do the nightshift, more OT. My last two nights are straight time. Helps pay the bills I guess!

I'm so itching to be doing some creative stuff. My friend KJ showed me an awesome card she had made and now I want her to come teach me!

It was 33 degrees yesterday, 20 degrees this morning at 7am when I got into my truck. So I've hooked up the a/c in the bedroom. It's quite loud so I've got earplugs out and hope I can get some sleep.

Had a nice but brief with my best friend the other night. I miss her and our friendship.

I think I have twelve shifts left before I'm done my job.

• Yes it's true! My darling daughter and I are heading back to Vegas...... in August, for some summer-time mother daughter bonding. Very excited about it! Relaxing in a lazy river, shopping, good meals, FINALLY riding the Venetian gondola; being together before she starts university and I start my new job.
• I've offically given my notice at my present job. After nearly 16 years I will be done at the end of July. Bittersweet for sure. I start my new job on August 18th; my birthday!
• Have been doing my share of OT and that is great, especially since we decided to do Vegas.
• House has not sold. Yet. Disappointing. I had so hoped to be in my new home by August. I know the complex that I want to buy in; I just have to sell this house and hope there is something available there. All about timing.
• Have not been doing any scrapbooking; not since my g/f was here for Father's day week-end. I sure miss working on layouts. I just feel like my plate is so overfull that I can't focus any time on my hobby.

Ever since Gunnar died, he has needed more and more attention. He's waiting at the door for me, when I come home. He swirls around my legs when I walk about the house. If I sit in the bed, he bounds into the room, jumps up onto the bed and settles himself on my chest/abdomen, for scratching and rubbing. He even purrs.

Hind sight is an interesting thing. I can look back now over 20 years and see things in a different light, a clearer light: the truth. How will peace ever be possible if so much is unsaid, unresolved and unknown.

Made this card for my girlfriend who is always doing me favours. Bazzill cardstock. Ink embossed a Cuttlebug folder with white SU ink. Used my nestabilities, a SU stamp, pop dots, Revolution photo corner and tiny buttons.
