• another set of shifts done....bringing me that much closer to my Vegas Vacay!


• was my first set with my student, and it was good.


• the toe is unreal and I am scared/excited about getting the surgery on Monday. an amputation might be reasonable!


• apparently it snowed during the day the other day but I totally missed it.


• Oscars tonight, soo looking forward to seeing the gowns. Hope my George wins another Oscar.


• went out for a lovely lunch on my last day off with some co worker friends; sat for three hours and enjoyed each other's company. so nice.

Baby A and I........

• I had a baby shower for MsCupcake and baby A, it was intimate and lovely and I had lots of time to cuddle with the baby, even feed him a bottle. He smells so good! She got lots of good gifts and there was enough food and all in all a success.
• Work went well; was orientating a new nurse to the unit who was very keen and eager to do all my work, so I was able to sit back and rest my throbbing painful ingrown toenail. I know, I know, I'm not supposed to talk about it, but it really HURTS! Anyways, "M" is going to be a hardworker and a good fit for the unit I think. Next week I have her for a couple more shifts and my student starts, which shall be interesting. I hope I do well by her.
• Enjoying how clean the house is, and I've kept it that way!
• Spent one night at work working on Prevent and Management of Agressive Behavior modules (course is next month). What a dull night that was.
  
• Going out for lunch with some work girlfriends in a few days.
  
• Tomorrow is for scrapbooking. Project Life is going every two weeks or so!.....

Miss you so much.

• Mamma came down for a visit and naturally cleaned the house for me. I don't know why she likes to do it so much, but I really appreciate it. I guess she knows how much I dislike doing it. All the Christmas decorations came down in less than three hours and I have to say, it looks quite dull in here. I need a pop of colour!
  
• Been watching two types of shows: Say Yes to The Dress, lol, and home improvement shows. So many great ideas...would love to redo my bathroom, have my living room painted and decorated and the kitchen blown up and redone from top to bottom. In my dreams!
  
• Mamma found my old typewriter and I'm going to use it to type out some journaling cards for Project Life.
• Speaking of Project Life, I'm falling way behind. I just don't know what to take pictures of! Right now I have fixed up two pages and they basically have posed pictures from a photo shoot at work (LOL) and baby A. I don't really see the purpose of taking a picture of a soup can or something along those lines, just to put in the album and say this is a soup can.
  I do enjoy looking back at the past few weeks though so do want to keep up with it.
  
• The Trifecta was reunited on Friday after FAR too much time apart! We came together to wonder over baby A, who made his arrival two and a half weeks ago. So small and adorable, smelt so good, slept through the whole visit. Meant to take some pictures but that didn't happen. Was SO good to be the three of us together, even for a short while.
  

PROFECT LIFE week 2 and 3

Here's my last two weeks worth of pages. I'm finding it harder and hard to take pictures of stuff. What on earth does a single person who works shift work and sleeps most of the time, take pictures of? LOL. This week I should be on week five but I don't have any pictures for four, so it's going to be a combo week, I think.
